Hello! I’m a patient, professional, and passionate ESL tutor with experience teaching English to learners of all ages and backgrounds. As a native English speaker with ESOL training and a strong academic background in language learning, I understand both the challenges and rewards of mastering a new language. As an ESL tutor, I focus on building my students’ confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing English through a supportive and engaging environment. I tailor my teaching method to each student’s goals, whether they want to improve conversation skills, prepare for exams, or feel more comfortable using English in academic or professional settings. I use communicative techniques, real-life scenarios, and visual aids to keep lessons fun and engaging. A typical lesson starts with a warm-up conversation to build fluency, followed by targeted activities such as vocabulary building, grammar practice, or pronunciation drills. I also incorporate interactive reading and listening exercises to strengthen comprehension. Each lesson ends with a recap and feedback to highlight progress and set goals for next time.
What sets me apart is my background as a native English speaker who is learning Spanish, so I understand the challenges of language learning firsthand. I’m also trained in ESOL and have experience working with children and young adults, which helps me create a patient and personalized learning atmosphere.
