About Susana
Hi all! My name is Suzy and I'm a native Inlges teacher. I have been teaching private classes since 2012 helping students in their extracurricular tasks, exam preparation, vocabulary practice, reading, writing and especially conversation. I have taught classes to people between 5 and 12 and adults. I have also been teaching online since August 2018. I have the 120 hour TEFL course.

I follow a combined methodology of conversation, writing, reading, comprehension and vocabulary. In each activity or exercise I treat a mixture of these 5. I consider it very important that the student learn in a more real and natural way integrating several areas of the language in each class. In most cases I follow the school material of students who have their own books, doing exercises similar to those that appear in their books. In any case, with or without school materials, I always evaluate the level of the person to know their strengths and weaknesses with the language and thus adapt the classes in an individualized way. I like to incorporate in the classes real material such as videos, articles, letters, songs, photos, brochures, magazines or newspapers, etc. to immerse the student in the linguistic reality seeing and analyzing real situations of the day, learning new expressions you accepted that they are used a lot or listening to different accents. For me English should not be studied by significantly differentiating grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading and conversation. From my experience, all these areas of the language must be taught and learned in an integrated manner, although there is a need to dedicate more time separately to some of them.
