About Alena
Hi everyone! My name is Alena, and I'm so excited to help you learn English. I'm from the United States and moved to Medellín a few months ago.
Teaching has always been one of my passions. I started tutoring my classmates when I was 12. I also have experience in business operations and worked as a corporate trainer for over three years. Learning a new language can be challenging, but it doesn't have to be boring or stressful. I like to simplify complex topics and make them easy to understand.
My classes are personalized and practical. I love using conversations and real-life situations to help students gain confidence. I also provide resources and activities for them to practice outside of class.
Besides teaching, I'm passionate about music. I play guitar and sing. I also love to travel whenever I can and have visited several places in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. If you want to learn English in a relaxed and fun environment, I'd love to help you!
