About Halo
I'm Halo, 20 years old, and I'm born and raised in the southern United States! I speak English natively as well as actively learning Spanish and Swedish! I've always had a passion for writing and language learning, and my grades in school were always the highest for English classes! I've scored very high in SAT and College Placement for writing and reading specifically, I've scored in the second highest threshold, and teachers have always praised me for my writing abilities. I promise you won't be too lost with me, English can be a very difficult language in pronunciation, dialect, grammar, spelling, and even slang usage, but trust when I say you'll understand it with me! I also have experience in customer service so I know how to talk to clients, I can be as casual or professional as you need! I can work with any English Proficiency level, from beginner to almost fluent! If you decide to have me as your tutor, I will need to assess just how much you understand in both writing, reading, and speaking be it with a professional ESL test or by simply speaking to you one on one. I am taking Swedish and Spanish lessons, however my proficiency in both are very beginner, but I can absolutely try to communicate in those languages if absolutely necessary as I do know the basics!

I can adapt to how you learn and what specific English level you're at, I'm great at speaking slowly and clearly if needed, as well as getting you accustomed to native speed. My lessons are more meant for ESL folks. I can help with learning different slang for English as well! You'll learn proper grammar, as well as how native speakers use the grammar-- don't be fooled, we're taught proper grammar but we rarely actually use it in casual settings-- proper pronunciation, and spelling.
