Hello! My name is Jeremy and I am from the United States. I have been a teacher of English as a Second Language for over eight years, and I love it! I have two TEFL certifications and two TESOL certifications. I also have a BA in Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts Boston and an MA in Intellectual History from the University of London. I am a writer, cultural critic and artistic journalist. I'm a contributor to The Arts Fuse magazine, based in Boston. My essays, short stories, and poetry have been published in a wide variety of places and different languages. I am excited to be able to teach you about the English language and its history and cultures!

My favorite thing about teaching English to speakers of other languages is the opportunity it provides to meet new people and have cultural exchanges with people from a wide variety of backgrounds! I believe that learning a language should be fun and natural, and that practice should always be supplemented with contextualizing conversations about etymology, grammar, culture, history, and more.
