About Jason
I have not tutor the Chinese language before, but when I was residing in Germany, I did offer English lessons to children of international families, specifically in English reading comprehension and composition. Mandarin is my native language and although I do not have a degree associated with it, I have in-depth knowledge of the language and grammatical structures and not just speaking.

Depending on the level of proficiency of the student, I have different approaches. In the first session we determine the level, then I will help the student to improve specific areas they wish to improve. I believe while grammar is important, the student first need to build a list of the most commonly used vocabulary in order to use in different occasions, even including our in-class exercises. After each lesson, I usually like to assign short exercises for the student to practice during the week.
