Nicole is a patient, friendly and knowledgeable tutor with a good grasp of English to help you through your language journey. Furthermore, she is very responsive to messages (even after sessions) to help guide you to extra resources and answer any questions you may have. I come from a Chinese background with a very basic understanding of Cantonese and my main issue has been putting myself out there and just speaking out and trying different sentence structures. Over 6 sessions, Nicole helped build my confidence by conversing with me while jotting down notes to correct my mistakes in grammar/vocabulary. One drawback I found (I'm not too sure if this was intended or not) would be that the lessons are not very structured (i.e. each lesson does not really have a clear objective). All in all, I would recommend Nicole to anyone who wishes to improve their conversational Chinese skills!
