About Zoe

Hello! I'm Zoe, a native British English teacher from London with a clear, neutral accent and a passion for helping students become confident, natural English speakers.

I hold a 120-hour TEFL qualification, including Business English, and have experience teaching learners of different ages, nationalities and language levels. My teaching journey began in an international school in Berlin, where I worked with young children in a multilingual environment. Today, I specialise in teaching adults from around the world, helping them achieve personal, academic and professional goals.

I teach a wide range of students, from those looking to improve their everyday conversation skills to professionals preparing for important exams and career opportunities. My areas of expertise include Cambridge English, OET preparation for nurses and healthcare professionals, Business English, British pronunciation, interview preparation and conversational fluency.

Before becoming a full-time English teacher, I built an international career in the creative industries. I studied Fine Art at Wimbledon College of Arts (University of the Arts London) and worked on projects across theatre, fashion and cultural institutions, including collaborations with internationally recognised organisations. This creative background allows me to design engaging, personalised lessons using authentic materials and real-world topics that keep learning interesting and relevant.

Students describe me as patient, encouraging and well organised. I believe that learning English should be enjoyable as well as effective. My lessons are carefully structured, but always adapted to your individual needs, learning style and pace. Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your communication at work or simply building confidence, I'll support you every step of the way.

My goal is not just to teach grammar and vocabulary, but to help you communicate naturally, think confidently in English and enjoy using the language in everyday life.

About the lesson

Learning English should be practical, engaging and tailored to your individual goals. Every student learns differently, so I design each lesson around your level, interests and the skills you want to develop. Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your confidence at work, or simply wanting to speak more naturally, we'll work together with a clear plan to help you make steady progress.

I am a native British English speaker from London with a clear, neutral accent. I hold a 120-hour TEFL qualification, including Business English, and have experience teaching both children and adults in international settings.

I previously worked in an international school in Berlin, supporting young learners in a multilingual environment. Today, I specialise in teaching adults from around the world, including professionals, university students and healthcare workers.

My lessons include:

I use structured Cambridge-based materials alongside authentic articles, videos, role plays and speaking activities to ensure lessons are both practical and enjoyable. Grammar is taught in context, helping you understand how to use English naturally in real-life situations rather than simply memorising rules.

For OET students, I provide focused preparation for Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening. Together we'll work on referral, transfer and discharge letters, role plays, medical vocabulary and exam strategies to help you achieve your target score.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for intensive exam preparation or writing workshops.

My teaching style is patient, supportive and encouraging. I create a relaxed environment where you can build confidence, ask questions and develop your English without feeling pressured. My aim is not only to help you improve your English, but also to give you the confidence to use it naturally in your studies, career and everyday life.

I teach adults of all levels, from beginner (A1) to proficient (C2), with a particular focus on intermediate and advanced learners preparing for exams or professional communication. Whether you're studying for the OET, preparing for a Cambridge qualification, or simply want to speak more like a native British English speaker, I'd be delighted to help you reach your goals.
