Learning Mandarin can be fun and relaxing, but it could be stressful too! I aim to teach in a more relaxing setting, where students get to speak the language naturally. I prepare teaching material to individual need, based on a set of textbooks published by National Taiwan University. This is because I understand that everyone learns differently, and there is no method that works for everyone. Even though I don't have a degree in teaching Mandarin, I have 2 years' experience teaching virtually. I specialise in teaching beginners, making sure that they have a good understanding of the language before reaching higher levels. Currently, my youngest student is 5 years old and the oldest is 70.
