I am Chelsea Wolkove, a performing pianist with fifteen years of teaching experience. My studio is welcoming yet structured. I watch how you sit, where your wrists rest, and how your fingers connect to keys before suggesting any changes. A typical 60-minute session includes two-octave scales, a short etude for dexterity, work on one piece with attention to dynamics, rhythm clapping exercises, and a recorded demonstration of next week's goal. My specialty is helping students find musicality — not just correct notes but emotional expression. My teaching fits young beginners aged seven to nine, transfer students fixing bad habits, older adults returning to the bench, and self-taught players wanting proper form.
