About Alexandra
ᐯ IO ᒪ I ᑎ G ᒪ Iᔕᕼ My name is Alexandra and I am a violinist from Chicago. For the last 5 years I have been teaching in private schools, but I also teach violin privately. I use the Suzuki violin method without notes for younger students and a combination of American methods for older students. I completed my undergraduate studies at DePaul University School of Music in Chicago. I moved to Warsaw to continue my Master's degree at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music with Professor Janusz Wawrowski. I have been a member of many prestigious orchestras: Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago, Paderewski Symphony Orchestra, All-State Orchestra, Classical Symphony Orchestra, Protégé Philharmonic and DePaul Symphony Orchestra. I had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall, Chicago Symphony Orchestra Hall, Sydeny Opera House and at the castle in Łańcut. I played in various chamber ensembles, including Jean Cras Trio, 5th Wave Collective and Wieniawski Strings. I take great responsibility in teaching my students and I am looking forward to working with students who have an interest in violin or are preparing for entrance exams to music schools.

Violin lessons are taught in English. There are 3 different grades (more information in English) and each grade applies and works to develop the student in a musical and technical way. We work on communication in English and develop violin playing using the best methods used in ambitious schools in the United States. Why it works Music is a universal language that will simplify and give us new opportunities to learn to play the violin, but also will develop English in fundamental communication and conversations about classical music. Information in English: What is ᐯ IO ᒪ I ᑎ G ᒪ Iᔕᕼ? It is an offer that combines two very important skills- musical ability to play violin and English communcation skills. This is a very unique offer for motivated students and kids! It is an offer that will let you learn violin the same way students learn in America, guiding you to possibilities of studying and performing abroad! THREE LEVELS: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced. ALL levels will improve your English. ALL levels offer violin techniques from popular American teaching methods. ALL levels will build your musical skills. Questions often asked: What if I am not comfortable with my English? Thankfully, music is a universal language and by engaging ourselves through music, we can come to a common understanding of what we want to achieve together. Do not let your fear of English stop you from trying something new, like taking violin lessons in English. What if I will not understand what is going on during a lesson? No worries, there are many ways we can work during a lesson. If something is not understood, we will use other guiding methods such as simply showing and explaining the idea in a different way. What if I do not know how to say something in English? I am also certified in the polish language on a B2 level, so polish can be used if you are completely stuck and cannot express your thoughts or concerns. We will work on this so it becomes as rare as possible. :) First lesson: Free (30 minutes for children, 45 minutes for students)
