About Nagasharan
Hello, my name is Nagasharan and I am studying Biomedical science at King's college London. I chose to study this subject because of my passion and enthusiasm for the human body and its ever so many complex processes and mechanisms. Initially I used to struggle with all 3 sciences and exams used to scare me, as I didn’t have a good revision strategy. But through speaking to teachers and seeking help I was able to develop effective note taking and revision methods that has helped me reach where I am today. By being your tutor I will pass on the joy I get from studying Biology and Chemistry, in addition to helping you gain a better understanding of these subjects through methods that have personally helped me and methods that have helped my previous tutees.
As keen as I am with exploring the mysteries of the human body, I also enjoy relaxing by playing rugby, table tennis, badminton and swimming. I used to swim competitively for my local team and played rugby for my school. I am also a F1 fan and love watching races with friends.
Overall, by being your tutor I will help you enjoy learning Chemistry and Biology and aid you in developing your own unique learning style just as I did 5 years ago.

To structure, prepare for, and deliver my online tutoring sessions, I start by clearly outlining the session objectives to ensure students understand what they will learn and its relevance. I engage students with interactive tools such as polls, quizzes, and discussion prompts to maintain interest. I use a variety of teaching methods, including multimedia presentations and digital resources, to cater to different learning styles. I incorporate the "I do, we do, you do" approach, demonstrating concepts before guiding students through practice and allowing them to work independently. To help students achieve their goals, I collaborate with them to set individualized targets and provide tailored resources, offering support through messaging between sessions. I measure progress through mini assessments, like quizzes and interactive exercises, as well as periodic reviews to assess understanding and mastery of the material. I encourage self-reflection by prompting students to assess their understanding and set future learning goals. Ultimately, my aim is to create a positive and engaging online learning environment that inspires students to take ownership of their learning journey and fosters their academic success.
