About Cléone
The piano has been my passion since the age of five. Music was among my matric subjects and I followed this up at university, studying both Classical and other styles of music, with piano as my major instrument. I hold a Hons. B.Music degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching. I have considerable experience in teaching Music to groups of children, as well as teaching the piano to all age groups. There is a certain sense of joy I derive from sharing my love of music with others.

Anyone who truly wants to play the piano is invited to come on a musical journey with me, regardless of age. My lessons are structured around each particular person's requirements, both musically and as an individual. Each person's specific orientation will contribute to how the lessons unfold. These may follow the sight-reading, technique, pieces, aural/theory, creativity structure, however, I change this up to keep the element of interest alive. Due to my passion for improvisation, I encourage creativity which I believe opens wider doors within the musical spectrum and beyond. Music has a unique power for those who play an instrument ... do you play?

Perfect! She certainly lives and breathes music. She is focused and professional during the lessons. She is extremely observant which assists with providing guidance where she picks up opportunities for improvement. But patient a novice / beginner player and repeats without giving up. Definitely enjoy her classes...
