About Josephine
I am a student at Heidelberg University, and I can say that I still have trouble singing sometimes too! But, it is so fun to sing and I want to get better at it (and help you get better at it too!)
I have done Musical Theatre since I was 4 years old and I intend to keep doing it too! I have been ranked as a superior vocalist and actress for 2 years running at the National Thespian Society and have been nominated for Best Actress in a High School Musical for 2 years running as well. I have gone to Open Jar to work with Broadway casting directors, and vocal and acting coaches, and have worked with multiple current Broadway actors in musicals such as Mean Girls, The Outsiders, Funny Girl, The Great Gatsby, Chicago, and Hairspray.
I love to sing and I want to get better... and I can help you do the same :)

About the lesson

My teaching style is very adaptable to the student! I won't be overly gentle I will NOT be aggressive, singing is very intimate and I want to nurture this talent with all vocalists.
I will start with a vocal warm-up to ensure the vocal chords are not being abused and properly cared for. I will then ask what the student would like to work on, whether that be a song they want to sing or a harmony they can't seem to nail down. We will work on it and practice repetition. Finally, we will cool down the voice and discuss what we need to rehearse before meeting again.
The lessons are for students who love to sing and want to improve any vocal ability they want to! I work with elementary, middle school and highschool!
