I have worked with India in numerous capacities. We have performed together in a variety of vocal ensembles and toured to Italy to perform in venues such as the Vatican (St Peter’s Basilica). Most recently India and I have worked together in running a new choir titled Jane Holloway Choir. I can testify to India’s incredible organisational skills as she is the reason the choir managed to get off the ground. She is a warm and friendly person who works incredibly hard to achieve her goals and this can be heard in her singing and seen in her other hobbies. India is a diverse singer with classical training but also a talent for musical theatre and popular covers. This unique diversity of style combined with India’s wonderful organisation skills give me every confidence in recommending India as a music tutor. She will do everything to help her pupils and has the knowledge and experience to help them excel in their goals.

As general manager of our university choir, she was always quick to distribute relevant information, deal with any arising issues, and worked hard to make everybody feel welcome and valued. India was general manager for the Jane Holloway choir last year and was consistently committed to the organisation of the choir both during the year and during the national lockdown, when she organised for us to perform virtually by editing our singular videos together.
India was also very encouraging and helpful when anybody had a problem or needed assistance. She has been very understanding personally with my mental health issues which occasionally caused me to miss rehearsals.
Furthermore, India is an extremely talented musician, and I have the utmost faith that this will be passed on to each of her students.
