About Ábel Márton
I have been playing the piano and writing songs since I was 5.
I play jazz-fusion, funk and rock music in the bands DAS Trio, Abel Marton Nagy's Cosmos Band and DJABE.
I studied jazz composition at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversitat in Vienna. My main teacher was Andy Middleton, American jazz saxophonist.
I have been on tour with Steve Hackett, original guitar player of Genesis.

Don't know the name of the notes?
Don't understand music theory?
Are you learning to play music at home but feel like you don't know what you're doing?
Maybe you already know what triads, chords and scales are, but you're also interested in what 7#9b13 is?
Would you like to write your own song, arrange it and play it with your band?
I help! I've been studying music theory since I was 7 (like any normal kid lol). Of course, I didn't like it at the time, but later I realized that it is a great help to understand music. Since then I have written and recorded more than 50 songs with small and large bands.
My curriculum and methods are flexible, I can be:
- motivating
- relaxed
- strict
- accountable
- not accountable
It depends on what you need, what your goals are.
Feel free to reach out for details, we will discuss all technical matters by phone or email.
