About Annabelle
I am a trained music teacher and piano teacher. I have taught piano for over 30 years and have been teaching in schools for 20 years. I enter pupils for ABRSM piano and theory exams and have had 100% success. I have recently started to teach using RockSchool and have successfully got students through exams.

I graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire with a B.MUS (HONS) and from Huddersfield University with a PGCE in Music Education.
I believe good technique is extremely important and will put some focus on that in every lesson. I use John Thompsons first piano course for young beginners coupled with Edna Mae Burnhams Dozen a Day technical exercises. I like Fanny Watermans course for older beginners. I put pupils in for ABRSM practical and theory exams. I have taught AQA and Edexcel specifications at GCSE level, I favour the edexcel syllabus.

I usually ask students to pay 4 week in advance. I don't charge for missed lessons, unless it is a very late cancellation.
I am happy to get transfers into my account or take cash payments - what ever is easiest for you.
