About Isobel
I studied at the Purcell School of Music from year 5, then moved to the Chetham’s School of Music for sixth form. I play the trombone and piano (goth grade 8 standard), and now study at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

I believe it is important to learn basic music theory before starting an instrument so you can understand what you are reading/playing. Learning basic music theory before you start properly learning an instrument will enable you to succeed much quicker on your instrument.
