About Gloria

I bring a strong academic and personal background in language, communication, and multilingual learning. I speak English, Spanish, and Italian with native fluency, and I have lived experience using these languages in real-life family, school, and cultural settings.

I hold two bachelor’s degrees, one in Speech-Language Pathology and one in Biopsychology, and I am currently completing my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. My studies have given me a deeper understanding of language development, pronunciation, communication, and how people learn and process language.

As a tutor, I take each student’s goals seriously and adapt my lessons to their level, learning style, and needs. My goal is to create a professional but comfortable learning environment where students feel supported, respected, and confident as they improve.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is patient, practical, and personalized. I teach Italian, Spanish, and English with a focus on real-life communication, pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence when speaking. I believe language learning should feel encouraging, not intimidating, so I create a relaxed space where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and improve step by step.

A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or review of what the student already knows. Then, we focus on the student’s goals, such as everyday conversation, pronunciation, grammar, reading, travel phrases, or school support. I like to include examples, guided practice, repetition, and real-life situations so students can actually use what they learn outside of the lesson.

What sets me apart is my multilingual background and my academic training in language and communication. I speak English, Spanish, and Italian, and I am currently completing my master’s in speech-language pathology. This gives me a strong understanding of language development, pronunciation, and communication skills.

My lessons are best for beginners, intermediate learners, students needing extra school support, adults wanting conversation practice, and anyone who wants to feel more confident speaking Italian, Spanish, or English.
