About Joshua
As an MSc Psychology Researcher, GMBPsS, and practising DSA Specialist Mentor, I bridge the gap between academic research and authentic personal growth. Alongside my mentor role, I work as an active Research Assistant at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) on the Dragon Mind project and previously founded an academic research skills club during my undergraduate degree.
My background enables me to support university students, professionals, and neurodivergent individuals through their toughest challenges, from advanced research methods and statistics to managing burnout and executive dysfunction.
I practice a person-centred (Rogerian) approach. I don't lecture or impose rigid structures. Instead, I offer an empathetic, non-judgemental space where you set the agenda. Together, we will untangle your academic or personal blocks, build your self-efficacy, and cultivate the confidence you need to succeed on your own terms.

My Style: Client-Led & Empathetic
Our sessions are a non-judgemental, supportive space tailored entirely to your immediate needs and energy. I use a person-centred approach instead of rigid lesson plans to help you untangle personal blocks, manage burnout, or navigate complex university modules.
How We Work Together:
• Check-In (5 mins): We identify your immediate priorities, stress levels, or bottlenecks.
• Deep-Dive (50 mins): You set the agenda. I act as a sounding board to break down life goals, structure essays, or unpack data.
• Wrap-Up (5 mins): We capture your key takeaways so you leave with absolute clarity.
Who This Is For:
University students, professionals, and neurodivergent individuals (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or anxiety) who find rigid, top-down tutoring overwhelming. Bring your raw ideas, messy drafts, or burnout—we will build your confidence together.
