Hi, I’m Umar — a graduate with a BSc in Accounting & Finance and an MSc in Investment Analysis. I’ve spent years mastering core concepts in business, finance, and accounting, and now I’m here to help students do the same. My Approach to Tutoring As a graduate with a BSc in Accounting & Finance and an MSc in Investment Analysis, I bring a strong academic background and a fresh, relatable approach to tutoring. My aim is simple: help students genuinely understand the subject, build confidence, and achieve real results — whether that’s exam success, coursework support, or general improvement. I tailor each session to the individual, breaking down complex topics into simple, digestible parts using real-world examples and active problem-solving. I encourage questions, can guide students through past papers, and regularly check understanding to make sure progress is being made each step of the way. How I Teach Lesson Length: Usually 1 hour (can extend if needed). Style: Friendly but focused — I want students to feel comfortable but also motivated. Tools: Online whiteboards, real-life examples, past exam questions, and structured notes where useful. Pace: Adapted to each student — fast for revision, slower for foundational gaps. Qualifications MSc in Investment Analysis (Aston University) BSc in Accounting & Finance (2:1) Strong understanding of finance, business, accounting, and quantitative methods Who I Teach GCSE, A-Level & BTEC students in: Accounting Business Studies Finance University undergrads who need help with finance modules, investment analysis, coursework, or some quantitative topics Lessons are available online across the UK As the student, you will always come first.
