About Sophie
I have been a Montessori teacher for over 25 years and have been tutoring French online for the past four years. As a native French speaker, I am passionate about sharing my language and culture with others and really enjoy helping learners develop their confidence in French.
I work with students of different ages and levels and always adapt my lessons to suit their individual needs, interests and learning style. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and engaging, so I try to create a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making mistakes.
Whether the aim is to improve conversational French, build vocabulary and grammar, prepare for exams, or simply become more confident in using the language, I tailor each lesson accordingly. My experience as a Montessori teacher has also taught me to be patient, attentive and creative in the way I approach teaching, making lessons as interactive and enjoyable as possible.
