About Ellen
Hi!I'm Ellen from China, a very energetic and easy-going girl. I'm doing Master of Social Work in Monash University now.
I was an Educational Administrator in a language school before I came to Melbourne,
• Creating special teaching methods to help college students to improve oral English(movie scenario learning)
• Designing interesting activities for different western festivals
• Providing additional support for college students to overcome difficulties in learning English
• Interviewing and managing foreign teachers
I'm fluent in Mandarin and I have advanced proficiency in oral English( IELTS speaking module 7.0) so that I can teach students with English background.

My teaching methods are different from person to person, because students' characters and aims of learning are different, which means I would choose different way to attract their attention and made them interested in learning Chinese.
If the student wants to attend the exam，I would use the content of exam to repeat practice. For example, speaking: I would mock the real scenario in real life to communicate with my students.
If the student wants to learn basic oral Chinese, I would guide him to start from reading a book or watching a vivid Chinese drama and learn the key words or the conversation in it and repeat practice.
