About Tod

Templates and header files are often the first points of friction for new programmers. I admit that I struggled with pointers early in my own studies at Stanford. These technical hurdles are simply data points to resolve rather than failures of intellect.

Helping 300 students find their footing has shown me how common these blocks are. Many of my clients are highly capable but simply lack an organized workflow.

I provide that missing structure through clear iterative progress. Every session concludes with 1 actionable task to tackle before we meet again.

My degree in Computer Engineering informs how I explain memory management and inheritance. Disorganization is a fixable problem for anyone willing to practice. I am here to help you turn those errors into actual progress. Dealing with code is a personal endeavor for me.

About the lesson

Do you find that debugging feels like wandering in the dark without a map? Learning is about moving from vague confusion to writing functional code that actually runs.

I emphasize real past paper practice to ensure you apply modern standards correctly. These sessions utilize 10 years of my engineering background to keep things grounded for career switchers. It is satisfying to watch a student finally parse their first complex template. Building software becomes much more enjoyable once the syntax stops being the primary obstacle.
