"Violin music started filling my rooms when I was just 4 years old. The rosin dust on my fingers reminds me of the hard work required to build technique. My 13 years of teaching include everything from sight reading to tuning by ear.
I hold an MMus Music Performance degree from the Australian National Academy of Music. My lessons integrate music theory, ear training, and posture and hold. Nervous beginners and exam candidates benefit from my rhythm and timing instruction. I meet each person where they are to help them achieve steady improvement."

"Focusing on the bow grip usually takes up the first few minutes of our time together. It feels quite natural to adjust your stance as we work through a piece.
I use my 13 years of experience to observe your orchestral playing techniques closely. Weekly practice modules assigned with every class ensure you stay on track between sessions.
We cover sight reading and ear training using methods that simplify complex theory. Maintaining proper posture and hold remains a top priority during these hours.
You will find that regular engagement with classical repertoire builds confidence over time. I am here to ensure you grasp the nuances of rhythm and timing effectively. My goal is to keep you grounded in the fundamentals while moving forward."
