About Dennis
I expect and inspire my students to aspire to a professional level of contemporary classical composition. For example, even though he learned traditional music from me, one of my students has now gone on to produce such acts including Rihanna and Lenny Kravitz, extending his technique and vocabulary accordingly.

I have plenty of worthwhile experience in multiple modern styles. Studied with Morton Subotnick, Mel Powell, Harold Budd, Chinary, Julia Wolfe, and John Cage. I have composed, arranged and produced two albums of music and scored three short films, including the short 30 Days To Say Goodbye. I also have performance experience at local festivals.
