About Anannya

Hi, I’m Anannya, a Math and Calculus tutor currently studying first-year Medicine in Ireland. I graduated last year, so I understand exactly what students need right now to succeed in exams. Alongside tutoring, I have experience teaching swimming and dance, which has helped me become a clear and adaptable teacher. Teaching Style:
I focus on helping students truly understand a concept before they apply that knowledge to exam-style questions. I break down topics into simple steps, explaining the logic behind each method. This way, students grasp why something works, not just how to do it. That's especially important in Calculus, where students often find it hard to connect different ideas. I also emphasize problem-solving skills and exam techniques. I show students how to confidently tackle questions they haven't seen before. During lessons, I use short quizzes, quick questions, and regular check-ins. This helps me make sure students are keeping up and grasping the material. We can then spot mistakes early and correct them right away.

A Typical Lesson:
