About Joe
I am a second year medical student at Southampton University. I have tutored both GCSE and A-level in sciences and maths. I've previously only taught face-to-face but I am looking forward to the opportunity to teach over the internet. I have also helped students pass entrance exams into prestigious public schools.

I enjoy teaching at college and secondary school level.
My lessons are centred around subjects my students have struggled with. I will break down the overall subject into smaller and more manageable segments. Once we have worked through the segments, I aid the student into reconstructing this into the larger subject. I find this very effective in grasping difficult concepts.
I like to ask lots of questions as we work through problems together, challenging my students' deeper understanding of the problem. I am friendly and very patient (thanks to my younger brothers).

My son's results in Chemistry improved markedly after Joe had taught him. He is very patient and works at the student's pace. He also explains things clearly, is reliable and encouraging. I would definitely recommend Joe to anyone who struggles with or needs that bit of extra help in Chemistry.
