About Jeffrey
I am currently a second-year Bachelor of Medical Science student at ANU. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, whether it's helping friends with math problems or supporting my classmates in high school and university to gain confidence in the subjects they want to improve in. I believe that a good tutor can make a lasting impact, not only by helping students achieve academic proficiency but also by fostering skills and a mindset that will benefit them long after high school and university.
With an ATAR of 96.45 after completing my HSC, I have a solid foundation in math, biology, and chemistry, and I’m enthusiastic about sharing the study strategies and insights that helped me succeed. My goal is to empower students with the tools and confidence they need to excel in their studies and achieve their academic goals.

I believe in a strengths-based approach to tutoring, focusing on building students' skills rather than dwelling on their difficulties. Each lesson begins by addressing any concerns the student has about previous material or current school challenges. Once we've clarified these, we work together to overcome the obstacles—whether by breaking down key concepts into simpler terms or reinforcing understanding through targeted practice questions.
To maintain engagement and focus, I find that a one-hour lesson strikes the perfect balance between productive study time and preventing burnout.
As a current medical science student with experience in the HSC, I am committed to continuously improving my tutoring skills. I’m eager to share my knowledge and guide students toward reaching their full potential on their educational journey.
