About Megan
Are you an intermediate or advanced English-speaking medical professional? Do you lack confidence speaking/listening in real-life health care situations? Are you having trouble understanding medical terminology? Are you writing a scientific paper, but worry your language skills are lacking? Have you found your dream job, but need help with your CV or preparing for an interview? Then I am the tutor for you! My name is Megan and I am an experienced nurse and educator in both the US and abroad. I've performed the role of supervisor in hospitals and have given health-focused presentations to groups of 100+ people. My role in health education and HR means I know how to design a powerful CV/resume and what it takes to perform a winning interview. My personalized lessons/homework will help you greatly improve your medical English skills, build confidence, and advance your career!

My lessons are designed with a focus on speaking, listening, writing, and CV/interviews (or a combination of these). For example, if you have a job interview, we will conduct a mock one; if you are giving a presentation, you will give that to me; if you need help understanding medical conversation, we will practice role playing; if your CV needs work, we will work on it together. All in a safe, informal space where you can practice your skills.
My teaching methods includes official OET practice exams in speaking and listening, sample CV/resumes, presentation slides, audio/video files, pdf doc’s, and medical articles/research studies.
Upon contacting me for a Free 30 minute trial lesson, you will receive an “All About You” form, so that I can get to know you, your needs, and your goals. You will also receive information about my policies and procedures for teaching.
