1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
I developed an interest in my chosen field during high school, and my passion for tutoring grew over time. I began private tutoring during that period, and it has been a fulfilling journey ever since.
2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
I specialize in teaching anatomy, physiology, pathology, and biology. My approach involves discussing clinical aspects and correlating topics with real-world examples to enhance understanding. I find joy in making complex concepts accessible, and fostering a practical and enriching learning experience for my students.
3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
Absolutely, a high school teacher served as a profound role model for me. Not only did she inspire and motivate me academically, but her admirable personality also played a pivotal role in shaping me as a better person. Her influence left a lasting impact on both my studies and personal growth.
4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
A good tutor possesses qualities such as being student-friendly, approachable and creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. The ability to tailor topics according to the individual needs of students is crucial, ensuring that the learning experience is personalized and effective. Effective communication, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching are also essential qualities for a successful tutor.

Back in school, my tutor brought a skeleton to our biology class, sparking excitement among my peers and transforming the dull lesson into an exciting adventure.
6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?
The constant influx of new knowledge in the field of medicine and the challenge of balancing the depth of content while ensuring accessibility for students of varying levels are ongoing hurdles. However, these challenges drive me to continually refine and enhance my teaching methods.
7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?
My passion lies in both teaching and the subject matter itself. Witnessing students grasp complex concepts and develop a genuine interest in biology and medicine fuels my enthusiasm for teaching.
