About Shemona
I'm an undergraduate mbbs student.(final year)
What I really feel is that the initial step to understanding an autistic child is by obtaining the best comprehensive evaluation, identifying the child's strengths and weaknesses. Rather not to force child but being consistent is the key .
To be determined have a firm believe that child will improve and have a meaningful and healthy life.
I have no private tutoring or teaching history .. but I believe being in a medical profession each day you encounter so many people with disease/disability you learn to handle patients with care and compassion which is the first and foremost important step .

My method is first to create a BOND with the child, so that he/she feels safe and comfortable. Then evaluate their strengths and weaknesses in every aspect( physical , mental ,social , psychosocial,cognitive and behavioral)
- Initially marking their ability to understand and reciprocate the same.
-mark their learning and grasping pace.
-acknowledge their moods,personal habits,one on one interaction
-complimenting and encouraging their small efforts.
It's a long process with slow pace.
Second :Understanding their area of interest and work on it..
Suppose if a child shows a little interest towards art or music . Acknowledge it .help the child develop little more interest every day.
Third : Letting the child to experiment on their own which will help them grow mentally and well as physically through wide experiences ,observations
