About Erika
My name is Erika Maraboto Rivera. I was raised by a strong and independent mother who taught me the value of balance, discipline and resilience principles that continue to guide both my professional and personal life. I am currently a consultant at EY Mexico within the Strategy and Transactions practice, with experience leading national and international projects. I have been recognized by Forbes Latin America 30 Under 30 and as a Global Winner of EY NextGen Women 2024, for developing an artificial intelligence startup aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. I have lived in Canada, the United States and France, which has given me a global perspective and strong communication skills across cultures, as well as fluency in three languages. I am also the founder of Mode & Modes, a digital platform focused on fashion, culture and female leadership. In addition, I have received the Santander Women Leaders – Dalia Empower –UIN Scholarship and have participated as a mentor in international programs such as Tech4Girls, supporting young women from different countries in developing leadership and digital skills. I am currently working on the creation of an NGO focused on strengthening education, mentorship and global support networks for women and girls. I bring the same level of professionalism, preparation and commitment to my work as a tutor. My background allows me to teach English with clarity, cultural awareness and real-world application, helping students feel confident, motivated and supported throughout their learning process.

My name is Erika Maraboto Rivera, and my goal as a tutor is to help students feel confident using English in real-life situations, not just understand grammar rules.
My teaching approach is practical, structured and student-centered. I focus on communication first, while naturally integrating grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. I adapt every lesson to the student’s goals, level and learning style.
