About Benjamin
I have a degree in Applied Mathematics and am working towards a post-grad in Operations Research. I have been tutoring independently and with companies since I was in school. I was born in England and partially raised in South Africa and so have taught a wide variety of students.

I believe in developing a good base of theory with a student first whilst filling in any gaps, and then working through as many examples as possible. Textbooks are often too theory heavy and when practical problems come around, students are unsure how to apply the work they've already learned - I aim to bridge this gap and leave students feeling confident approaching any type of problem that will be thrown at them.

Ben helped me quite a couple of times throughout high school when studying for tests, especially when it came to maths. He is super understanding and really fun to study with, he works at your pace and has a lot of patience, even if he has to explain it over 5 times... haha! Really recommend him if anyone needs a real boffin to teach them even the basics. He should be your go-to guy !
Ben is an extremely patient and considerate tutor and I really enjoyed our sessions together. He is incredibly understanding when it comes to assisting with complex mathematical problems, general problem solving and also time management.
