About Solomon
Hello, Future Math Champions!
I’m a passionate Math tutor who believes that Math is not the scary monster many students think it is!
I became a teacher because I genuinely enjoy helping people understand things that once seemed difficult. There’s something amazing about seeing a student go from “Sir, I don’t understand!” to “Ohhh, I get it now!” That moment is what keeps me going.
I want to teach because I believe every student has the ability to succeed in Math when they are given the right explanation, patience, encouragement, and a little fun along the way.
In my lessons, you won’t just sit quietly while I throw formulas at you. We’ll think, discuss, solve problems, make mistakes, laugh, try again, and celebrate your progress.
I also love connecting Math to everyday life—money, shopping, business, football, technology, cooking, and even those mysterious Nigerian transport fares!
Whether you’re a beginner, preparing for an examination, or simply want to become better at Math, I’m here to help you build the confidence to say:
“I CAN DO THIS!”

My Personal Math Teaching Approach
I call my approach “Understand → Connect → Practice → Master.”
I believe students don’t hate Math—they often hate the way Math is taught. My goal is to make every lesson feel less like a classroom lecture and more like an interesting problem-solving adventure.
1. Understand
I first identify what the student already knows and where they are struggling. I then explain the topic using simple language, visuals, examples, and step-by-step reasoning.
2. Connect
I connect Math to everyday Nigerian life. For example, we can learn percentages through shopping discounts, business profits, airtime/data, football statistics, budgeting, transportation fares, and everyday transactions. This helps students see that Math isn't just something in a textbook—it is everywhere.
3. Practice
Students learn by doing, not just listening. I use puzzles, challenges, quick quizzes, games, competitions, and real-life scenarios to keep lessons interactive.
4. Master
After practice, I gradually increase the difficulty and encourage students to explain their reasoning. This builds both mathematical ability and confidence.
My Golden Rule
"No student leaves my lesson saying, ‘I still don't understand."
I adapt my teaching to the student's age, level, personality, learning speed, and goals—from primary school Math to secondary school, WAEC/NECO preparation, and advanced topics.
My aim is simple: make Math understandable, enjoyable, practical, and something students can confidently use in real life.
