About Ivy
I am an experienced mathematics tutor with over 7 years of teaching and a Master’s degree in Mathematical Finance. My approach blends rigor with accessibility. Mathematics should be understandable without losing its precision.
I stress logical reasoning and structured argument in every lesson. Proof writing is not treated as a separate skill but as the language of mathematics itself. In group theory, we analyze permutations and symmetries to make abstract definitions tangible. Ring theory lessons often begin with familiar number systems before expanding to polynomials and algebraic structures.
