About Akunna Chima
My name is Akunna and I am a Math teacher. I struggled in my early education years, especially in Mathematics, partially because I was not intellectually mature for maths but also because of the teachers I had. I saw a rise in my understanding and love for Maths in my Senior Secondary days, when I enrolled in private lessons, with as teacher in my school. I felt like a new being and thought I could conquer the world. I want to inspire such confidence in the younger generation of students who think that they can never understand mathematics. I want to get them excited about maths.

I have 5 years experience working and teaching in an elementary school of high repute and two years experience teaching in secondary school and preparing students for external examinations. I have tutored privately a total of 16 students in the last 3 years and they all showed excellent improvement. I use a combination of audio and visual aids in my teachings and active problem solving to Ana me students get comfortable with solving math problems.
