About the lesson

Take lessons with me and you will benefit from my more than a decade of experience practicing my craft and learning from a multitude of mentors. I’ll be the first to say that I’m not a genius, and I had to work hard and find clever ways to understand and explain mathematical concepts to myself. This training has prepared me to be an empathetic and creative tutor who continually searches for the best ways to help my students achieve understanding. I bring the mathematical chops and the human element to my lessons in equal measure.

Ms. Heidi has been my AP Calculus tutor as well as my SAT Prep tutor for about a year now. Being a very responsible student and not at all a procrastinator, I scheduled a last-minute session for my last exam of the semester and we spent 3 hours studying together. As expected, I aced my exam! Since then, I've been grasping new materials and concepts with a much better understanding (this is especially helpful since Calculus can be quite challenging). Ms. Heidi is a helpful aid in my education and I highly recommend her!
