About Azuka
I am Petroleum Engineering graduate of the University of Port Harcourt with 5+ years experience teaching S.A.T mathematics.
My high aptitude in mathematics and excellent analytical skills makes teaching an enjoyable and fulfilling task for me.

I will first evaluate the students' level of knowledge and mastery of math and come up with a lesson plan based on their proficiency.
Depending on student's math proficiency and the length of preparation time, I will conduct a personalized comprehensive review to build a solid foundation in math, and work toward getting a 700+ score.
Most students think maths is a difficult subject and fear they will do badly. This creates an additional barrier for success in their exams.
Based on this ideas, I adopt the following approach to tutoring:
1. Create a relaxed and interactive atmosphere, encourage discussions and questions.
2. Help the students overcome their fear of the subject.
3. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the students
4. Ask the students to work through problems that test or challenge their weaknesses.
5. Also suggest problems that play to their strengths in order to build up their confidence.
6. Work through as many practice problems as possible with the students, taking care to analyze each step taken.
7. Show them tricks, clues and shortcuts to enable them overcome time constraints
8. Carry out mock tests before the actual test date.
