About Clay
My interest in Mathematics developed from a fascination with patterns, structure, and logical reasoning. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics followed by a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Modelling. During the last 6 years, I have helped students improve their skills through personalised instruction and consistent support.
I believe that successful learning comes from a balance of challenge and encouragement. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and adapting lessons to suit each learner. Creating a positive learning experience is central to my work.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical applications in economics, technology, and scientific research. These interests allow me to demonstrate how Mathematics is used in the real world. Watching students gain confidence and achieve their goals is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career.

My Mathematics lessons focus on helping students gain confidence through understanding rather than memorisation. We study algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics using clear explanations and carefully structured examples. I encourage learners to explore the reasoning behind mathematical methods so they can apply concepts effectively.
Lessons are tailored to individual learning goals and academic requirements. Through guided practice, worked solutions, and problem-solving activities, students strengthen both accuracy and analytical thinking. Regular support helps learners identify areas for improvement while building confidence.
I aim to make Mathematics feel approachable and rewarding for every student. As understanding improves, learners become more comfortable tackling unfamiliar problems and thinking independently. My goal is to help students achieve strong results while developing valuable lifelong skills.
