About Aviraj

I have a strong academic background in mathematics and computer science and have studied at institutions such as the University of Washington and the University of Pennsylvania. I enjoy working with motivated students who want to challenge themselves and strengthen their problem-solving skills. My approach emphasizes clear reasoning, structured thinking, and mastery of fundamentals rather than shortcuts. I aim to help students build confidence, perform well in demanding courses, and develop the analytical habits needed for long-term academic success.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on building strong understanding and confidence in math, not just memorizing formulas. I start by identifying where a student is struggling, then break concepts down step by step using clear explanations and examples. A typical session includes reviewing key ideas, guided practice, and problem-solving together. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace and learning needs. My lessons are ideal for middle and high school students (Grades 6–12), including Pre-Calculus and Calculus, who want consistent support and long-term improvement.
