About Misha
- Misha Prokutin is a Stanford University student currently pursuing Math Major, with a particular interest in advanced calculus and aerospace engineering. - He graduated with distinction from the “Boiko Super Math School,” receiving a silver medal for his exceptional academic performance. - Misha was awarded a full scholarship to complete the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at “Ecole Lemania” in Switzerland, graduating with 40 points out of a possible 45. - He has a solid foundation in mathematics and physics from his time at the “Kharkiv Physics & Mathematics Lyceum No.27,” where he participated in various national and city-level math competitions. - Among his notable achievements are 2nd place in the National Math Olympiad (2021) and 1st place in the City Physics Olympiad (2020). - Misha has over 2 years of tutoring experience, focusing primarily on high-level mathematics. - While studying in Switzerland, he provided private tutoring to four students from “Ecole Lemania” for 9 months, helping them excel in their final exams. - Misha has taught five clients privately, adapting his teaching methods to meet each student’s individual needs.

My Approach to Tutoring
Teaching Method and Techniques
- I believe that effective learning begins with understanding the student’s current knowledge and objectives. To achieve this, I start with a 40-60 minute free consultation to assess their level and clarify their goals for our lessons. This personalized approach allows me to tailor my teaching to each student's needs and aspirations.
- Before every session, I provide a detailed lesson plan in PDF format, enabling the student to review the foundational theory beforehand. This preparation ensures that our time together is spent effectively building on these basics.
During lessons, I use a structured approach:
- Theoretical foundation: The first half of the session focuses on explaining concepts through an interactive presentation.
- Practical application: The second half is devoted to solving problems, allowing the student to practice and apply their knowledge.
To reinforce learning, I assign brief but impactful homework after each lesson. These tasks, designed to take no more than 30 minutes, provide additional practice and solidify the material covered.
