About Lucas

I am a dedicated flute tutor who enjoys helping students of all ages develop musical skill, creativity, and confidence. My teaching combines mentorship, critical thinking, creativity, and accountability. I focus on developing tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control while nurturing expressive playing. I emphasise reflection, problem-solving, and independent thinking in every session. My goal is to build confidence, discipline, and curiosity in all students. I also teach related subjects such as performance preparation, rhythm, and theory. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel encouraged.
