About Maria

I am a Mathematician. I have a Master's degree in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University. I have 3 years of experience teaching Math at University level (Simon Fraser University and Universidad de los Andes). I look forward to working with you!

About the lesson

My teaching is based on finding different methods that can help the student fully understand a concept. Then lots of practice exercises to master the topic. I can teach High School math as well as Undergrad. Classes can be in person or online.

Maria is absolutely amazing, she is patient and very clear in her explanations. She helps you understand math in a very different way, making it easier and practical. I would have loved to have her as my math teacher in school so I wouldn't have to struggle later! I recommend her for all ages.
