About Katie

I have 17 years of teaching experience and have worked with preschool students all the way up to high school. Teaching is my life calling; there is nothing else I want to do, and I am dedicated to finding what will help promote growth and learning for my students.

About the lesson

I believe strongly in building a relationship and rapport which leads to me learning about unique interests and learning preferences. The more I learn about challenges and strengths the more I can individualize instruction and strategies that will work best to help achieve growth.

Katie is the best special education I have worked with. When we worked together, she supported my students and me in so many ways. She taught me so much about inclusion and intervention. I can’t emphasize enough how much she truly cares for her students. She’s amazing at what she does!!
