About Siya
Hi premeds! :)
My name is Siya and I am an incoming MS1 at a T1 Medical School in New York!
Having gone through the process of taking the MCAT and completing pre-med courses, I completely understand how overwhelming it can all feel.
Having scored in the 97th percentile on my MCAT, I have developed a strong understanding of content and strategy. My tutoring approach is simple- putting my student first and working hard to reach their (your) goals!
I am also a BS/MD student and am more than happy to help with essay editing and guide you through the premedical journey!

My lessons focus on both knowing the content and understanding HOW the MCAT actually tests it.
I’m especially strong in Psychology/Sociology and CARS, where success comes less from memorization and more from recognizing patterns, reading strategically, and thinking the way the exam wants you to think. I help students learn how to approach passages, eliminate answer choices with confidence, and avoid common traps—while still making sure the underlying concepts are solid.
I also offer essay editing and feedback, whether it’s for personal statements or academic writing, with the goal of helping your voice come through clearly and confidently. Overall, my sessions are supportive, efficient, and truly designed to help you feel calm and in control on test day!
