About Mark
I’m a Spanish tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master of Education in Language Teaching (Spanish). My greatest joy is helping older adults and retirees learn Spanish at a pace that feels comfortable and rewarding. I understand that many are learning for travel, personal enrichment, or simply to keep the mind active, so I create lessons that are as engaging as they are approachable. My teaching style is calm and patient, using memory-friendly techniques like repetition, visuals, and simple phrases to make learning stick. I focus on real-life Spanish—practical dialogues for ordering in cafés, asking for directions, or chatting with locals on a trip.
