About Yash

Yash Dahenkar, Co-Founder, and Director of Bitgenie, a blockchain start-up. I have experience in teaching 3000+ in various Colleges, Institutes, and Corporates which includes Bombay Stock Exchange, IIT- Bombay, Blockchain University - USA, Etlhive, Rise-Barclays, and many more. Being an active crypto investor and trader, I also teach the students how to create an account and how to invest in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency.

About the lesson

My methodology consists of hands-on and visual training. My teaching process is best for beginners as well as for those who are seeking for advanced level. I will help you with creating your account, how you can invest, how much should you invest at the beginner level, etc. I will make sure that you understand the concept clearly before jumping it to another level.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
While I was browsing the internet in 2015, I came across the word "Bitcoin" and a lot of people in tech were talking about it. One person wrote a blog about Bitcoin and why it is the future of money and why blockchain will change the world. This event sparked curiosity in me and I never looked back. I also started a blockchain and crypto company in 2017. Tokenization will happen and the new internet will be built on top of the blockchain.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
One of the interns working at my company invited me to talk about "Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies" in his Engineering College. I thought this will be a great opportunity to share my knowledge with young students. I gave my first full day lecture in 2017 and it felt so good and lively. I enjoyed giving the lecture so much that I started teaching regularly.
How does your work help society?
I make sure that students who go under me understand the emerging technology space really well and can help understand the new technology to others.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
Satoshi Nakamoto, who is still anonymous but he managed to change the world with strong willpower.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I love to read, workout, and meditate regularly. I also love hiking and bicycle rides. As an entrepreneur, I love to talk about business and new technology.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Student life is like sailing, you can take a rest but you need to keep sailing. Professional life is like roller-coaster ride, it doesn't matter how it feels, you just have to enjoy it.
