About Niva
I am a Computer Programming tutor with 6 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals. Over the years, I have successfully trained around 200–300 students in programming and problem-solving skills.
I teach subjects like Java, C, SQL, Data Structures, Algorithms, and basic Web Development. I help students understand concepts clearly and apply them in real projects, exams, assignments, and job preparation. Many of my students have improved their grades, completed strong academic projects, and gained confidence for technical interviews.
My teaching philosophy is simple: strong basics lead to long-term success. I focus on clear explanations, regular practice, and real coding examples. I believe learning programming should be practical, not just theory. I guide students step by step and teach them how to think logically and solve problems independently.
I am patient, supportive, and adaptable to each student’s level. My goal is not only to teach coding but to build confidence, discipline, and job-ready skills that help students grow in their academic and professional careers.

My teaching approach in computer programming is practical, structured, and student-centred. I mainly teach Java and also cover related subjects like Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, Algorithms, SQL, Database Management, HTML, basic web development, and problem-solving techniques. I connect theory with real coding practice so students understand how programmes work in real life.
I follow a step-by-step method. First, I explain the concept in simple words. Then I show examples. After that, students practise by writing their own code. I guide them through errors and teach them how to debug. This helps them build strong logical thinking and coding confidence.
Empathy and compassion are very important in my teaching. I understand that programming can feel difficult at first. I stay patient and supportive, especially when students struggle. I encourage questions and create a safe space where students feel comfortable sharing doubts.
Good communication is key in coding. I explain complex topics like loops, arrays, classes, inheritance, and exception handling in a clear and simple way. I also teach how to write clean and readable code.
I stay flexible and adjust lessons based on the student’s level, whether they are beginners, school students, university learners, or preparing for jobs. My goal is to help students succeed in exams, assignments, and interviews, while building strong programming foundations for their future careers.
