About Isla
I am a dedicated Chess tutor with 4 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over the years, I have successfully taught between 200 to 300 students, helping many of them improve their game and win local tournaments. My teaching style focuses on understanding each student's needs and building their confidence step by step. I believe in making chess fun and engaging while also helping students think clearly and plan ahead. I focus on important areas like openings, tactics, and endgame strategies. I also encourage problem-solving and patience during each lesson. One of my proudest achievements is seeing beginners grow into strong, competitive players. Whether a student wants to play for fun or compete, I am here to support their goals with clear guidance and a positive attitude.
